Lynette and Admiral had another litter of wonderful puppies – two cream girls. You might wonder how Lynette, who is a blue & tan, and Admiral, who is a pure blue pied, could have cream puppies. The answer is that both Lynette and Admiral carry the cream gene, and a double copy of cream is dominant over every other color. These puppies inherited the cream gene from both mom and dad, which will happen one out of four times. The odds of having two puppies, both of which are cream, is one out of 16. It just goes to prove that while statistics will hold true over time, anything can happen in the short term. Both of these girls are gorgeous, with great conformations, and they recently had clean vet checks.
