Amber & Summit 10/15/22. Ace is a very handsome heavy chocolate sable pied that you can see starting at about the 1:00 mark. Chocolates have brownish muzzles and paws, as opposed to black. They also have the gorgeous yellow-gold eyes, whereas other Frenchies (except for lilacs) have a shade of brown eyes.

Tinley and Apollo, who are both only carriers of the chocolate gene, had a litter of three puppies, all three of which are chocolates - a one in sixty four chance. This is why predicting colors from some parings is so difficult - statistics don't always hold up in the short term. However, in some parings we know for certain what we will get - it all depends on the genes that mom and dad carry.
