Lynette and Admiral had a litter of 5 gorgeous puppies, including a blue trindle girl named Lorelei. Admiral is a pure blue pied boy, because he carries a double copy of the recessive black gene, along with a double copy of the blue gene and a single copy of the cream gene. The brindle gene is dominant, so this little gal is a blue trindle and not a blue & tan, because she inherited a copy of the brindle gene from dad. Had she not, she would be a blue & tan.
